OK, so today's topic is, What is your favorite bible verse and why?




Hannah said: "One of my favorite verses is Proverbs 31:30."


"Charm can be decieving, and beauty fades away, but a woman who honors the Lord deserves to be praised.”  


"I was doing a thing at my church where we gave away slips of paper with verses or encouragement, and the one that I got had that verse on it. Pretty special to me, and it came right to me. I love it!"




Tori said: "My favorite Bible verse is Psalms 150."

Praise the Lord.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.

 Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.

 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,

 praise him with timbrel and dancing,
praise him with the strings and pipe,

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

 praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.

Praise the Lord.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28


"I chose that one because it reminds me that I can do anything with God on my side."



I love all of these verses that my buddies have given me. :) Thank you so much for sharing with me. One of my favorite Bible verses is Philippians 4:13.


I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.


I like this verse because I tells me when I am going through a hard time I will be able to get through it because God will give me the strength to do so.

Topic Tuesday

Hello once again! So on Tuesdays I will be doing something called Topic Tuesdays. I know  it's not Tuesday today but I didn't have a chance to post this yesterday. Topic Tuesdays is where I give mini interviews with other girls on a topic. Shout out to GodsGirlz1 for the idea to do this! Here is her blog address www.godsgirlz1.wordpress.com!

What does it mean to be a true friend?




Hannah said: A true friend means you are there through thick and thin. When your friend is ridiculed or scorned by others you are by his/her side. You always stand up for him/her. You try to never make your friend look bad or feel bad--you stand up for their feelings. Friendship isn't about you or your benefit, but it is a mutual feeling of "I am friends with you, not your are a friend or follower of me." You try to lift your friend up, not let them lift you or make you look good. Many people just have friends as decorations, or followers. But being a true friend means you make them matter in your life, always.




Tori said: I think it takes trust, kindness and ALWAYS being there for them.

Fashion Fridays

So as you all know-today is Friday. On Fridays I will be doing a post called, Fashion Fridays and it will be where I will give you fashion tips and how to reuse your old clothes for fashion accessories and things like that. I will also be posting hairstyles. Today's craft is a t-shirt flower.


You will need:
an old or a too small t-shirt,
scissors,
hot glue,
an undecorated headband or hair clip. (optional)


Instructions:


1. Take your t-shirt and cut a thin strip at the bottom.

2. Grab your hot glue and let it heat up for a bit, then take the strip and roll it up a bit then hot glue a little dot then roll a little bit then hot glue a little dot. Do this until you have rolled the strip completely up a flower looking thing.

3. Adjust the flower till its how you want it then grab a headband or a hair clip and hot glue the flower onto it. You can also hot glue the flower onto a safety clip so you can pin it onto your shirt! :)

This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it! 
Psalm 118:24


Sometimes we have bad days. We have a surprise pop-quiz that just shows up suddenly in one of our worst subjects or we get a bad grade. Some people get bullied and teased all day just because they're different. When we have a bad day or when someone else has a bad day you can just say Psalm 118:24 to remind us that the Lord has made this day and that we should rejoice no matter what!
